CQC Inspection 2019

CQC inspectors visited Parkside Private Hospital, Cancer Centre London and Parkside Hospital at Putney between September and December 2019. The inspection reviewed how the centre provided medical care and treatment, in this case chemotherapy and radiotherapy, to patients attending on an outpatient basis.
The report was published on 6 February 2020.
Overall, the rating for Cancer Centre London was Good.

 

Who are the CQC? 

They are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

Why did they rate us Good?

Cancer Centre London (CCL) offers a range of oncology services, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, nuclear medicine and patient support services such as complementary therapy; dietitian; psychosocial services and a patient information centre.
CQC also inspected Parkside hospital, to which oncology patients can be admitted for inpatient treatment, at the same time as the CCL inspection.
Overall, they rated Cancer Centre London LLP as good. They found the centre was good in all five of the key questions they ask of every service relating to safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led, with no areas for improvement highlighted.

What happens next?

We are very proud of this result and all the hard work put in by our staff in order to provide first class care to our patients. We will continue to strive for an overall rating of outstanding.
