Cancer Centre London ‘Good’ rating from CQC

We are delighted to announce that Cancer Centre London has achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating after the health regulator published its report on the hospital following inspections last year: https://www.cqc.org.uk/provider/1-163652765/services

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. Their role is to ensure that hospitals and other healthcare providers deliver services that are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.

CQC inspectors visited Cancer Centre London between September and December 2019.

The facilities were rated ‘Good’ across all five assessment criteria – for being caring, well-led, responsive to people’s needs, being safe and effective.

The report is complimentary and a reflection of the work, dedication and care with which staff across the sites treat their patients. The CQC report states:Staff cared for the patients with compassion. Feedback from patients confirmed that staff treated them well and with kindness and provided emotional support”.

Phil Bates, Hospital Director at Parkside Private Hospital and Cancer Centre London, said:

“We’re delighted with the Good’ rating and I’m so pleased with the progress that we’ve all made across our facilities and the dedication and hard work of all of our teams. It’s only with our staff’s support that we can continue on our improvement journey. As we build on the progress we have made and use the recommendations provided by the CQC, we will continue to work towards becoming an outstanding hospital. Congratulations and well done to all our staff.”
